If your role involves OSHA compliance, you’ve no doubt heard the buzz about new GHS standards.
OSHA has revised its Hazard Communication Standard to align with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals. The revised standard was originally released in 2012, but the final deadlines to fully implement the new programs are just now approaching.
Bottom line: Hazard Communication is already one of the most cited standards. The new rules are even more prescriptive and complicated. At this important juncture, it’s important that everyone responsible for OSHA compliance take a step back and make sure their organization is on track for meeting the new standards.
In this webinar, internationally recognized safety expert Bob Coffey will discuss the new GHS standards and outline exactly what employers, employees and chemical manufactures, importers and distributors should be doing to ensure they are on the right track to meet upcoming compliance deadlines. He’ll also answer specific questions you may have about how the new standards will affect you and your organization.
The program will cover:
